Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Unit experience.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license

Preferred Skills/Experience: Telemetry experience preferred

Required Credentials: Driver's License/State ID

Unit/Facility Details: The Medical Care Unit for our facility is a unit that has less acute patients that may just be awaiting placement to a long term care facility. They may be a variety of medical diagnoses.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation requirement.

Floating Requirements: The unit is shared with Inpatient Rehab and nurse may have to float between the two units.
