Echosonographer II

Required Skills/Experience:

• Advanced knowledge of the principles of ultrasound physics and instrumentation of ultrasound systems.

• Advanced knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology and pathology.

• Advanced knowledge of transthoracic echocardiography.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Five (5) years of pediatric echocardiography experience.

Required Credentials:

• High School Diploma/GED

• Within 12 months of start date: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer in Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-PE) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer in Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).

Unit/Facility Details: Level 4 worker.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am-5pm or 8am-4:30pm.
