Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience with 1 months within the past 12 months.

ASN completion required

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills / Experience: Experience to circulate in the following cases: Orthopedic, Cardiothoracic, Vascular, General, Urology, Robotic, GYN, Colon, Breast, Spine, Podiatry, Plastic

Must have strong and recent experience with CABG, TAVR, Vascular and Thoracic cases

Required Credentials: Education: ASN / BSN

Unit / Facility Details: Free Parking

Special Requests: If assigned to the first case needs to be on unit at 5:45am

Shift & Scheduling: On-Call: 4-5 Weeknight calls per 6-week schedule

Friday as early as 5p-7a Monday

Call Response Time: 30 minutes

Weekend Requirement: Typically only for call; 1 – 2 Weekends per 6-week schedule

Holidays are done on a call rotation, which travelers will be part off
