Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Shift & Scheduling: Scheduling is done at the management level; For nights they do try to block shifts together, but ask travelers are flexible and fill in schedule.
Weekend Requirement: As needed
Holiday Requirement: Will be asked to go in the Holiday Rotation
Call Requirement: None
Floating Requirement: First to float float to ‘like’ units which are within their scope at the Boise, Meridian, and Nampa St. Luke’s campuses
Requires BMT or Chemo experience.
Experience or 'Must have' skills: Prefer Chemo/oncolgy and/or BMT experience. Okay with 1 year of experience in Oncology. For general MS nurses must have 2 years of experience.
Would prefer travelers with oncology and/chemo certifications. Would need chemo certifications to administer chemo. Will accept MS travelers without onc/chemo experience, but must have 2 years of experience. They do take some higher acuity patients than general MS units. Unit prides themselves on teamwork.
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: BMT, oncology, GYN ONC surgeries, hospice, med/surg
Number of shifts of unit/department specific orientation: 2 days on the unit with a preceptor
Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided: Any color; No hoods.
