Previous Employment Requirements: Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
Required Credentials: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
Annual Skills Checklist is required for submission and can't expire during the expected contract dates.
RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated
Types of Patients on Unit: Common diagnoses/Types of patients: CHF, pneumonia, skilled patients for PT/OT, ATB / This is a MedSurg floor with no consultation services. At times will admit cardiac or diabetic Progressive Care level patients
Unit/Facility Details: Beds: 14
Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.
Special Requests: RTO needed upfront - Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: At least every third weekend
Holiday Requirement: Will rotate with core staff where there is a need
Floating Requirements: To ED for support
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
