Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Step Down Unit experience.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license

Additional Details:

RTO: If you have more than 5 days of requested time off, time will be added at the end of the contract to ensure a full 13 weeks.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: -Required Skills: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Heparin Protocols, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac

Preferred Skills/Experience: -Preferred Skills: Cardiac Telemetry, Telemetry monitoring (on-unit and remote), Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, TR Band, Feeding tube care and management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Accessing/Managing Ports, Manage Cardiac drips (no titration), Manage Vasoactive drips (no titration), PCA, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Peripheral nerve block catheters, Surgical drains, Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy care/management

  • Would prefer to have some cardiac experience to consider a 1st time traveler.

Unit/Facility Details: -Could care for COVID patients. -Tobacco and fragrance free facility - please notify traveler prior to submission -Travel pair policy: Pairs are okay, but the client cannot guarantee matched schedules.

Shift & Scheduling: -WEEKENDS: as needed -HOLIDAYS: as needed

Floating Requirements: FLOATING: as needed; may be asked to float to other departments if necessary including MS and ED hold
