AA completion required

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Flexible to work for MH in Spearfish or Rapid City in case our caregiver who is on the LOA in SPH can return before the 13-week contract would be up

Spearfish RT candidate will also attend c-sections, perform EKGs, and assist with ambulance transport for ventilated/respiratory compromised patients.

First-Time Traveler: Upon manager review with strong experience

Patient Types:

Will work with all ages – Neonate to Geriatric

Pediatric Critical Care, Neonatal Critical Care, Adult Critical Care and general inpatient respiratory care

Skills Required:

Must have nursery and high-risk delivery experience. Therapist will go to high-risk deliveries in Spearfish

Critical Care, General respiratory care experience – will work Adult ICU and ED

Comfortability performing EKGs in Spearfish

Comfortability with ground transport of patients on ventilator from Spearfish; transport experience is important. Can be discussed in detail during phone interview

Floating: RT Coverage throughout hospital and ED

Will not float to other facilities, unless hired for that specifically

Orientation: Spearfish Hospital, Respiratory Care Department

Scheduling:

Variable: 12-hours shifts, straight nights; (4) 12-hour shifts one week, (3) 12-hours shifts the next in pay period

Weekend rotation: Every other

Call Requirement: Possibly, dependent on staffing during contract

Holiday Expectations: Work on holidays that fall within contract dates

Approval of Time Off: Manager Approval
