Patient Ratio: Postpartum: 1:2-3 couplets, 1:3-4 surgical/medical
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Obstetric, L&D, antepartum, triage, postpartum MgSo4, pre E Pregnancy, accept 23+ weeks; Gestational hypertension, Gestational diabetes, No cardiac intervention- they will take occasional higher risk patients, Post partum vaginal and c-section deliveries, hysterectomy, bladder repairs, mastectomies
1st time traveler are accepted
Must Be Able To Titrate Drips
Common titratable &/or set rate drips: pitocin, mag, occasional Insulin drips
Shifts & Scheduling: Rotational 7a-7p, 7p-7a, done 6 weeks in advance, cognizant of sleep schedules. Manager to make the schedule, will work with block scheduling.
Weekend Requirements: every third
Holiday Requirements: as needed
Floating Requirements: Peds MS, NICU- feeder-growers or could float to med/surg, PCU, ICU, ED, Psych units as 1:1 sitter or helping hands
Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
