Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 10 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience.

ASN completion required

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀/𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀: (ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit or service.)

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀: BSN / Certification as appropriate for unit or service is preferred.

𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: -May be required to float to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications) based on business need. -May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
