Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of RN First Assist experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

Pediatric RN First Assist - Required

Required:

RNFA- Graduate of an RNFA program accredited by the certification board for perioperative nursing

3 years of experience in perioperative setting

Ability to scrub and circulate is necessary

2 years hands on pediatric knowledge and skill

1 year of experience in cardiothoracic operative nursing - Preferred

Scheduling:

Will be on a rotating call schedule consisting of weekdays (1730 – 0700) and weekends (Friday/Saturday/Sunday).

Parking: Yes, and a parking pass is needed.
