Arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care/management, peripheral line care/management, phlebotomy, PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, cardiac telemetry, MS/Tele, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, telemetry, care of ventilated patient, chest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac), external CPAP/BIPAP, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, tracheostomy care/management, continuous bladder irrigation (CBI), pre/post hemodialysis management, renal failure, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), lumbar drains, pre/post neurosurgery, seizure disorders, spinal cord injury, substance withdrawal, traumatic brain injury, feeding tube care and management, heparin protocols, manage cardiac drips (no titration), manage vasoactive drips (no titration), thrombolytic agents, titrate cardiac drips, titrate vasoactive drips, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, telemetry (on the unit monitoring), use of rapid response/code teams, isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac, IV insulin protocols, ortho trauma, total joint replacements, pacemakers (temporary/permanent), post cardiac angiogram, post MI, pre/post cardiac cath, TR Band, skin grafts, surgical drains, titrating vasopressors (HARDSTOP)—continuous IV sedation, needs some ICU experience/hi acuity PCU.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience
Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), procedural sedation administration/monitoring.
Required Credentials: RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.
Special Requests: RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review.
No RTO the first week of an assignment.
Shift & Scheduling: BJC policy: Every other weekend required.

Weekend REQ: 2 shifts every other weekend. For day shift it is every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday. For night shift it can be Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday - depends on who already is on rotation
