Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.

12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required from last 3 months.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Massachusetts license

Additional Details:

Seasonal Flu Vaccine is required if working during flu season (September 15-April 30th).

Must be fully vaccinated (exemptions are reviewed on a very limited basis).

No Block Scheduling for any Travelers at Salem.

Weekend: Every Other

Must be able to read Tele strips

Unit: Ortho/Neuro Med/Surg Unit. This is a private unit admitting all other medical overflow.

Floating Required: Travelers are required to float to applicable units when requested.

Skill Sets Required: Med/Surg RN with neuro assessment skills and telemetry competency

Patient Population: Scheduled elective Orthopedic and Neuro/Surg patients, Fractures, Neuro patients and all other medical patients overflow
