Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.
12 months of Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience is required from last 3 months.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Call required.

Nurse-Patient Ratios: Preop Ratios 1:3, Phase 1 Ratios 1:2, Phase 2 Ratios 1: 1-3

Common Cases: General, Breast, Ortho, Urology, & OBGYN

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have Preop & PACU

Must be able to read and identify rhythm changes and life threatening rhythm.

Weeknight/Call Requirements: May be asked to go into call schedule.

Weekend/Call Requirements: May be asked to go into call schedule.

Holiday/Call Requirements: May be asked to go into call schedule.

What is call response time: 30 mins - ask the staff stay safe and arrive to campus safely

Floating Requirements: May be asked to float to other areas (not typical). Wouldn't be asked to float outside the hospital to another site.

Scrubs are provided.

Unit/Department specific orientation: 3 days of orientation with a preceptor, General orientation typically 1-2 days including Hospital welcome, HR meeting, badges, and more; Modules expected to be complete prior to 1st day of orientation.
