Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit

All RTO to be discussed during interview and must be included at time of submission

1 Reference must be from the most recent place of employment.

Clinicians must have at least 18 months of permanent full-time staff experience in the specialty applying to PRIOR to having ever traveled.

Shift & Scheduling: Rotating - Day (07:00 - 19:30) / Night (19:00 - 07:30)

Shift typically consists of 2 weeks D, 2 weeks N if needed to meet the operational needs of the hospital. Facility will do their best to honor travelers preferred shift but reserve the right to rotate them if necessary.

Block Schedules: No

Facility is willing to approve up to an 18 week contract.

Traveler must work at least every other holiday.

Required Skills / Experience: Must have minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.

Must have 18 months perm experience in specialty applying for prior to travel assignments.

Preferred Skills / Experience: One year of recent oncology/chemotherapy administration experience

Others:

Experienced oncology nurses are encouraged to apply; training will be provided to qualified candidates interested in administering chemotherapy

ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, an acceptable score on both assessments is required.

Traveler will receive 2 attempts maximum to pass

BG hits of any kind are reviewed by the facility but will not accept any traveler with an open case

Facility does not accept any license hits

Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date.
