Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.
CLN is expected to float to General OR if needed
Call Required: 48-60 Hours Every 4-week Period – Weekend Call Is Required - They Can Choose To Sign Up For Calls On Their Day Off (Which I Never Allow My Nurse Manager Who Manages The Schedule To Do Because I Think Staff Should Be Off When They Are Off) Or On The Day They Work Knowing That We Rarely Keep Anyone On Call For The Entire 12-hour Shift. If It Is Deemed That We May Need To Keep Someone On Call Because A Member Of Staff Calls Out, We Have A Discussion With Them And Offer Them The Opportunity To Get Off Early To Get Rest And Allow Them To Leave Early In The Morning. We Have 2 On-call Rooms That Can Be Utilized By Staff When They Are On Call.
