Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 12 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Previous Employment Requirements:

Required Skills/Experience: Must have at least 1 year experience in a level 3 or higher NICU or minimum 1 year PICU experience

Neonatal/Pediatrics - Equipment/procedures: CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BIPAP

Airway Management Devices/Suctioning: Extubation, Intubation Assist

Work Settings: NICU, Care of the Infant/Child With

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Medication Delivery Systems: Aerosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach

Medication Administration: Albuterol, Nitric Oxide (INo), Pulmicort

Neonatal/Pediatrics - Equipment/procedures: Assist in high risk delivery, Bubble CPAP, Capillary blood gases, Direct Intubation (Neonatal), High frequency jet ventilator, IMV/SIMV, Intubation Assist, Oscillating Ventilator

Oxygen Therapy: Bag and mask, ET Tube, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)

Ventilator Management: BiPAP, CPAP, Flow-by, High frequency jet ventilator, High frequency oscillator, IMV (intermittent Mandatory Ventilation), Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation

Airway Management Devices/Suctioning: Direct Intubation, Pulmonary Hygiene, Tracheostomy care/management

Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV)

Required Credentials: Pass/Fail Exam required for all clinical candidates except for: Behavioral Health, OR, RRTs, CNAs, remote Telephone Triage positions, Transitional Skilled Unit, and Outpatient Infusion RNs. This is required for clearance; candidates will only have 3 attempts to pass.
