Requirements

Experience

18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months within the past 12 months.

ASN completion required

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills / Experience: General Med/Tele skillset: Cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with non-titrating Cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone), care of patients with tubes/drains, IV start skills, blood products, wound care/dressing changes, etc.

Required Credential: Education: ASN/BSN

Unit / Facility Details: Patient Ratio: 1/4-6, acuity dependent – surge times could increase to 1/7-8

Special Requests: 36 or 48 hours are available.

Shift & Scheduling: No call

Weekend Rotation: Every Other Weekend

Travelers will work 75% of holidays

Schedule Cycle: 6-week schedules

Floating Requirements: Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH (peds only) -- could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arises
