Travel Nurse (RN) - Post Anesthesia Care Unit

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Open to accommodating block schedule: Per manager discretion

There is a call requirement of up to 3 shifts in a two-week period which could include weekend call. Weekend call is Saturday from 0600 to Sunday at 0600 and Sunday from 0609 to Monday at 0600

PACU or recovering of Heart Cath experience. Minimum of three years, but five is preferred.

Weekend REQ: Yes

Scrub Color: Royal Blue or Navy blue

Every fifth or sixth weekend

Orientation Hours: 16

Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics

Holidays: traveler must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year

Return Staff Policy: 3 months to return as traveler

Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.

Proof of ID: Driver's License/State ID

BLS, ACLS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
