Guaranteed Hours: 36
Shift notes: Currently we operate 4 days a week Monday through Thursday June through August with 8 hours shifts covering up to 10 hours of surgery each day.
Late stay rotations and on-call rotations, block scheduling; Scheduling is done by the manager
Weeknight/Call Requirements: on-call, late stay rotations, 1-2x/wk. Typically M-F, 15.5 hrs of weeknights call.
Weekend/Call Requirements: on- call, 1-2x per month, 24 hr call shifts from Sat 0645-0645, Sun 0645-0645.
Floating Requirements: May be asked to float into OR scrub role PAA/PACU, sterile processing, for helping hands.
Common Cases: General surgery, orthopedic/sports medicince, plastics and cosmetics, podiatry, cataracts/Eye Procedures, OB/GYN/Women's Health (non-cancer related), Endo- colonscopy.
Comfortable circulating in various cases
Must have General & Ortho- specifically total joints experience.
Must have experience in similar size facilities Trauma Level 3 & 4, &/or Critically Access Hospitals.
Scrubbing required - RN's: Prefer scrub experience.
Scrub Color/Dress Code: provided at facility (cannot be worn outside), please arive presentable to facility.
Unit/Department specific orientation: 1-2 shift with preceptor, 1-2 call shifts with a preceptor.
Rural community hospital so they do a wide variety of cases.
