Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Cardiac Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

ADN completion required

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Start date it scheduled out of need

-Two (2) years’ current experience required in a 12-plus bed cardiac critical care and/or intensive care unit required.

Preferred Skills & Experience: -Open heart, LVAD, balloon pump experience preferred. -EPIC experience preferred, but not required; can train on-site.

Required Education: One of the following is required: -Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN). -Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)

-BLS & ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.

-Traveler must pass the BCA (basic cardiac arrythmia) testing during first week of assignment. Travelers that do not pass the BCA test will be dismissed.
