Travel Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit

Required Skills/Experience:

• RNs required to titrate drips: Any cardiac drip, insulin, sedation.
• RNs are required to read/interpret/document strips, monitor brand is GE.

Required Credentials:

• Pass/Fail exam on Wednesdays during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated.
• Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
• References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Special Requests: Will not approve blocked scheduling unless it's weekends only. They also will not take duos that want same schedule or share car.

Shift & Scheduling: Minimum of 2 holidays that fall within contract time frame.

Floating Requirements: Typically PCU, occasionally MedSurg- will take same ratio of patients typically assigned on these units (1:4 or 1:5).
