Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Emergency Department experience within the past 12 months.

ADN completion required

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience:
A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.
Shift & Scheduling:
Orientation is bi-weekly. Upcoming Start Dates: 9/15, 9/22
Weekend Hours: Every other
No call requirement

Equipment Used on Unit: GE Monitors, Standard ED equipment

Patient Population: All

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Respiratory Distress, Overdose, CHF, Dialysis, HTN
