Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience within the past 3 years.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Relias exams required to pass upon booking- 2 attempts.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:

Chest pain R/O MI, CHF, PE, GI BLEED, COPD, RESP FAILURE , DM, ARF/CRF Chest tube insertion, Central line insertion, HD tunneled catheter insertion, Thoracentesis. MI, CVA, HTN, CHF, Peritoneal Dialysis, Diabetes.

Unit/Facility Details: 36 beds. Nurse Patient Ratio: 1:5, 1;6 (RC), 1:4 intermediate group.

Floating Requirements: ED, Med Surg, ICU

Must be able to start within 3 weeks of requested start date. ASAP start dates are required to start within 6 weeks.
