Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
24 months of Telemetry Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license

Additional Details:

36 Hour Guarantee

Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend

On Call Requirements: No Call

Chest tube and other drain management Experience - Required

Post-operative open heart care experience - Required

Pre- and post-procedure care for patients with radial and femoral access - Required

Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, including: reading and interpreting cardiac rhythm strips, recognizing and responding to changes in cardiac rhythms - Required

Advanced knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary abnormalities

Experience with the following procedures and equipment (assisting with chest tube removal, assisting with removal of pericardial pacing wires, management of temporary pacers, including pericardial and transcutaneous devices, use and troubleshooting of non-invasive ventilation (NIV) devices, high-flow oxygen, and other oxygen delivery systems - Required

Critical Care Experience - Highly Preferred

Must float to all units within skill level- Required

All Travelers will be expected/required to float to units within their scope of practice and skill set. Should a traveler refuse to float, Lima reserves the right to send traveler home without pay for the entire work week.
