Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Preferred)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Must have basic arrythmia knowledge & be able to recognize fatal rhythms.

Unit/Facility Details:

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to. If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, one reference must be from perm facility.

Special Requests: Travel teams must be submitted together in one email.

Shift & Scheduling:

Every other weekend; holidays as needed.
Will allow block scheduling if in the contract. Nights is usually blocks. Sun - Sat.

Floating Requirements: Will float to any MedSurg. The only units they would not float to would be ED or Behavioral Health.
