Please make sure that RTO is discussed during interview and not after the fact. Approvals are done with the manager at the time of interview and will go off what the traveler shares during this time. The facility asks that they are informed during that time and not add any additional RTO after interview.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Years of experience REQ: 2 years (at least 1 year in acute care)

First-timers accepted: Yes (if strong acute care background)

No on call required

Floating Req to Sister Facilities: Yes, to Palm Bay Hospital as needed

Open to accommodating block schedule? TBD by unit’s needs

Unit Details: Acute care hospital, patients seen at bedside, focus on functional mobility with DC planning, Primary Service Lines treated: Ortho, Neuro, Trauma, Open Heart, Med Surg.

Guaranteed Hours: Contracted hours guaranteed.

Special Requirements: Ambulatory OR, Community hospital, General OR, and Pedi General OR experience required

Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics

Patient Diagnoses: Acute care hospital, patients seen at bedside, focus on functional mobility with DC planning, Primary Service Lines treated: Ortho, Neuro, Trauma, Open Heart, Med Surg

Preferred: Lifting and Transfer, ER, ICU

Required: Medical Surgical

Additional requirements: Solid experience as an acute care PT required

Additional preferences: Hours and shifts have some flexibility. Must be able to cover Mondays and Fridays as well as a weekend rotation (~ 2 days every 4 weeks).

Interview availability (in EST) required at time of submittal.

Staff/Employees/Contracted Travelers must wait a period of 1 year after they have left an internal contracted position.
