Experience

12 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.

24 months of Psychiatric Unit experience is required from last 3 months.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Behavioral Health IP

Types of Service: Inpatient adult psychiatry: acute stabilization for patients experiencing a mental health crisis. Length of stay is 3 to 5 days.

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Weekend Requirements: Every other Weekend and Holiday

On-Call- Requirements: None

Required Certifications: CPI/Aggression Management Program, VA State License or Compact & VA Fingerprinting

Years of Experience: 2+ years

Float Requirements: Yes

Must Have Skills/Experience: Behavioral Health IP

Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Any unacceptable attire: per VH dress code policy

13 - 26 week contract

No block scheduling can be considered at this time

Holiday RTO: May request one holiday off, no more than two days for holiday RTO will be considered.
