Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Operating Room experience.

3 months of experience with Epic is required from last 6 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

ACLS (Preferred)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Have worked in a full-fledged operating room with all service lines for 2-3 years, comfortable with emergency situations

Proficiency with Orthopedic Hana table, Total Knees and Hips/Strong Ortho, cataract procedure, c-section circulator role

Required Credentials: Charge role needed.

Types of Patients on Unit: Orthopedic and medical surgical patients

Unit/Facility Details: Orthopedic service line (40% of total volume),

Surgery covers OB c-sections and all hospital inpatient and outpatient surgeries

One on-call team on-call at end of day to provide 24/7 coverage.

Shift & Scheduling: On Call/Call Back Requirements: Every 6th weekend and once a week overnight

One weekend (Fri end of shift to Monday morning 0630) every 6 weeks

Floating Requirements: Float: Employee should not be asked to work outside of his/her Clinical skills unless approved by employee, unit manager, shift advisor, and Staffency. Candidate will be required to float to units and facilities based on census.
