Required Skills/Experience: Level 1 Trauma Center -Years of experience REQ: 2 years of recent acute care experience in ICU -Required Skills: IV therapy, Arterial line management, Central line care/management, Respiratory/Thoracic, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Medications, Continuous IV sedation, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Professional Topics and Skills, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Additional Skills, Computerized documentation, Titration of IV vasopressors
Special Request -no more than 2 consecutive. No holiday RTO. No RTO the day prior or after a holiday. No RTO on weekends.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend/ 2 weekends per month
Floating Requirements: -ICU RNs will float between numerous ICU units including Burn ICU, CCU, Medical ICU, SICU, Neuro ICU. If needed to support staffing, ICU RNs may be asked to float to MS units. First week (orientation + precepting shift) will be on day shift. -Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Cook is a MANDATORY FLOAT FACILITY, all resources are required to float at the facilities discretion.
