Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Operating Room experience within the past 6 months.

Experience with Epic is required from last 6 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• Have worked in an operating room with all service lines for 2-3 years; comfortable with emergency situation.

• Current experience in: General, Ortho, Joint, urology, endo, trauma, and robot (Davinci). Other cases include bariatrics, OBGYN, ENT.

• Experience with cataracts/retinas, vascular (thrombectomy), C-Sections.

Required Credentials: Associate Degree or Certificate

Special Requests: An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Nights: Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

• No On Call/Callback Requirement

• Holidays: (1) 24-hour call once per contract.

• Staff Meeting: 4th week of every month.

Floating Requirements: Call Rotation.
