Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience is preferred.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license

Additional Details:

All jobs with a 12 hour schedule have the option of a 36 or 48 hour work week.

Special Requests: No Block Scheduling.

Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver's license.

Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.

Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend, holidays and willingness to be on call.

Unit Details: In need of experienced CVICU nurses to help care for cardiac patients both pre and post op. -New and specialized 8 bed CVICU connected to 14 bed PICU. Work closely with surgical team and intensivist team.

Floating Requirements: Also subject to float to PICU, Peds and NICU.

Required Credentials: Must pass Ascension EKG Exam

Preferred Credentials: Influenza Vaccine
