Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months
Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Monday thru Friday

Will accept a 1st time traveler if they’ve had 2 years two years of level I trauma exp

Adult ICU and, Pediatrics, and Adult Acute Care experience

Certs: AART or ARMRIT certification

Previous Charge Experience: Preferred

Patient Ratio Experience: 1:1

Teaching Hospital Experience: Preferred

Community Hospital Experience: Preferred

LTAC Experience: Preferred

Trauma Level II Experience: Preferred

Orientation Hours: 40

Patient Diagnoses: Level 1 Trauma, ER, ICU, OP

RTO must be included at time of submittal or will not be approved- NO EXCEPTIONS

Return Travelers: If a traveler takes a break after an assignment and returns within 18 months, re- orientation is not required.

Floating is required and mandatory for all units. All travelers will be expected to float to any area at UMHS as a Patient Observer (PTOB) – “Sitter.”

Photo ID card is required.
