ASCP or AMT

Education: • Bachelors of Science Degree in Medical Technology or related field

Experience: • Previous experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in a hospital or similar institution

Assumes leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Laboratory Manager or Director of Laboratory Services

o If less than 3 years CLS experience, must have the Nevada Medical Technologist license; o If more than 3 years CLS experience, must have the Nevada General Supervisor license or National exam (ASCP or AMT).
