Required Credentials: Current Driver's License or Government issued photo ID required.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Patient Diagnoses: Medical - CHF, COPD, wounds, UTI, etc. Chemotherapy related side effects. All Cancers. Special Procedures/Unit Details: Bed Side Shift Reporting (BSSR), utilization of AIDET, and hourly rounding are required for this unit and all MMC Med Surg units Communication with AIDET, great customer service and phone etiquette is an expectation

Agency staff will not administer chemotherapy unless specially trained. Oncology and Chemo Experience is not required.

Types of Patients on Unit: Adults, Geriatrics

Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds: 27

Shift & Scheduling: -Variable Days 0700-1930, 1100-2330. -EOW & EOH Cannot request multiple holidays off - Unit staffs every other holiday. No call required.

Floating Requirements: Float to cover MS required - Float to cover CNA and Team RN tasks rotated among staff as needed, travelers must be willing to be flexible.
