Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience is required from last 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

ACLS (Required)

Additional Details:

No block scheduling requests.

Must be able to start within 4-5 weeks to apply

Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.

Required:

Proficient in scrubbing cardiac cases requiring bypass, and related procedures in the mediastinum, thoracic surgery cases, (daVinci assisted), as well as open thoracotomy, VATS, procedures initiating ECMO, and pericardial window.

Ability to take call

Call starts at 1500, (when assigned).

Weekend call is Friday, Saturday, Sunday, (when assigned).
