Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Preferred 12 months of Progressive Care Unit experience.
3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Annual Skills Checklist is required for submission and can't expire during the expected contract dates.

Shift & Scheduling: EOW. Holiday Requirements: Every other.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have PCU experience & be able to read strips. RN's required to titrate drips. RN to read and interpret.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Required Credentials: Preferred Credentials: Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Types of Patients on Unit: Adults and geriatrics, Cardiac caths, EP studies, pacers, and ETOH, Covid Bipap, occasional general surgical with heart history, medical patients with cardiac history, pneumonia covid, acute on chronic conditions, influenza, sepsis

Equipment Used on Unit: Technology Used on Unit: Unit/Facility Details: Beds: 32. Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:4-5, occasional 5-6 on nights, PCU level care overflow on the unit 1:3.

Previous Employment Requirements: Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.

Floating Requirements: All areas as helping hands, PCU for full patient load of PCU, MS for full patient assignment, some ER Holds/ boarding.

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
