ER float positions will require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established, however this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance, so clinicians is aware of what location they'll be reporting to.
No block scheduling.
Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Must have unit/specialty experience in the past 6 months.
Varying start times: 3p, 5p, 7p + Min 4 weekend shifts per sched + must do 2 of 3 holidays during the holiday season
Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer, through UNA, only (with 2 MAX attempts).
PASS/FAIL Sim Lab on day 1 of orientation. If they fail, they will be made a DNU for 6 months.
Moderate conscious sedation competency testing.
Weekend Requirement: Min 4 weekend shifts per schedule period. Must do 2 of 3 holidays during the holiday season
Scrub Color: Navy
Floating: Float between Gilbert and Chandler ER (7 miles/15 minutes apart), possibly mid-shifts
Floor specific orientation: 2-3 days on floor.
Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Trauma, MVAs, GSW, blunt trauma, piercing trauma, CVA (Stroke center), MI (CP center), high risk OB (have a separate entrance, Psych holds (4-6 per day) until transferred out, cardioversions, conscious sedation for closed fractures. 11% Peds population,. Only admit 15 or > any younger than 15 are stabilized and transferred.
