Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience within the past 12 months.

BS completion preferred

Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Credentials: Educ: Associate Degree or Certificate

Shift & Scheduling: On Call/Call Back Requirements: None. Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend and every other holiday. Contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours. Travelers can be put on call during the 36 hours of unbillable low census. If called back in, they will have call back pay.

Floating Requirements: Float to all inpatient units as needed.
