Requirements

Experience

48 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Case Management experience.

BSN completion required

3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Preferred)

Vaccinations

Required Skills/Experience:

Acute care case management experience is a must
Healthcare financial and reimbursement knowledge

Preferred Skills/Experience: ER and Utilization Review experience is preferred

Types of Patients on Unit: Inpatient, adults, no peds. Will see ICU, PCU, MedSurg, and ER patients. Will not care for L&D or NICU

Unit/Facility Details: 437 Licensed Beds, Parking: Parking lot or garage, free parking. Photo ID

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Will be required to work at least 1 holiday, can work more if wanted.

Shift times: Typically, five 8h shifts. The most amount of shifts they will be scheduled to work in a row is 6

Floating Requirements: Manager will let traveler know at beginning of shift if they’re going to be floated. Mid shift floating does not happen unless there’s an emergency. 2.5 miles apart between Allenmore and TG. Between Allenmore and Tacoma General
