ED Holds/Tele
An interview may not be available prior to offer.
ER float positions will require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established, however this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance, so clinicians is aware of what location they'll be reporting to.
Guaranteed Hours: 36
4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule
First to float, could float to sister facility Mercy Gilbert
Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer, through RELIAS, only (with 2 MAX attempts).
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: ED holds waiting for placement on a unit, primarily MS/Tele
Must have a strong cardiac tele background, preferably 2 years.
Must be able to decrease cardiac drips per physicians’ orders and parameters.
Nurses will be caring for more tele patients VS medical. (MS/Tele travelers do not need prior travel experience
Holiday Requirement Rotate in with the perm staff
Scrub Color/Dress Code Navy
May be asked to help with ED patients including vitals, IV starts and medicaton administration. Will not be asked to be primary RN for ED patient assignment.
No Block Scheduling.
Must have unit/specialty experience in the past 6 months.
