Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Unit

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Shift: 3x12 or 4x12 Days

Weekend Requirement: Will work every other weekend. If requested time off falls on weekend traveler would be scheduled per rotation, traveler will be scheduled additional weekend to make up for time away.

On Call: No

Floating Requirement: Will float as needed.

Block schedule: No

Special Requirements:

-PICC line management and experience with Starting IVs is required. Cerner experience preferred.

-Must be willing to take trach and laryngectomy patients - experience not required but must be willing to learn and take these patients.

-Must be willing to take up to 1:7 ratio if needed (not common but that is the max if needed)**

Magnet hospital/facility.

Scrub Color: Any solid color.

Parking Cost: Parking permit required, no cost. Will fill out form during orientation.

RTO – we can auto-approve 5 days of non holiday RTO or less. Anything more requires facility approval.

Candidate must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Background Policy to be noted prior to submission so we can seek approval prior to offer

Any Perm or PRN employee of Memorial must be away for 12 months before applying as a traveler
