Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 34 months of Emergency Department experience.
Trauma Level 2 experience is required from any number of months
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license

Additional Details:

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

Required Skills/Experience:

IV therapy/phlebotomy, blood product administration, central line care/management, phlebotomy, starting and maintaining IVs, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilated patients, general emergency department—combined adult/pedi, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, triage, trauma level II or III, see special procedure.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience

Screen 2 yrs strong exp with required skillsets

Required Credentials: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only).

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission.

Clinician must have reliable transportation; travel pairs require separate vehicles.

Shift & Scheduling: On call every other weekend - Varies may be every other'

Weekend Coverage: Every Other

Floating Requirements: Edmonds and other Swedish campuses on occasion
