Travel Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery Unit

RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Are weekends required? Yes Variable.

Are block schedules required? No.

What are expected ratios? 1:1 labor, 1:3 couplet.

Special requirements: Labor and post-partum experience, circulating in the OR.

Scrub Color: All RN/Allied: any color; scrubs are provided in sterile units like OR/ICU/ER/COVID.

Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: As needed

Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 Request

Orientation Hours: 12

Patient Age Groups: Infants, Adults

Special Procedures/Unit Details: We are a LDRP model unit that delivers roughly 40 births per month. Looking for a labor trained nurse who preferably does postpartum couplet care. 1:1 active labor (and most often early, cervical ripening inductions) 1:3 couplets

RTO must be listed at time of submittal, post submission RTO will not be approved

Must request all RTO / specific scheduling requests up-front during submittal. Post submittal/offer RTO may not be considered or granted. Inflexibility beyond contracted schedule and/or RTO may lead to termination of contract and system DNR.

All travelers should be prepared to float within the facility
