Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Emergency Department experience within the past 12 months.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license

Med/Surg/ER

Required Skills/Experience: The candidate would need to be able to be the charge nurse, and have solid ER and med surg experience

Types of Patients on Unit: We care for patients of all ages with a mix of acute, skilled, intermediate, pre/post-surgical and OB.

Unit/Facility Details: Our average census is 3-4 patients.

25-bed critical access hospital and Level IV trauma center.

Special Requests: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license from any point in the past.

Shift & Scheduling: Will be a 6 on 8 off schedule
