Orientation Date: 9/8, 9/15 Only
Includes weekends and holidays
Weekend Requirement: 2-3 shifts/6 week schedule. Friday night and Saturday night are considered weekend shifts for the department.
The weekend shifts will be assigned as needed up to four shifts.
Candidate would need to be skilled and experienced in Labor and Delivery, circulating Cesarean Sections, caring for postpartum patients and well baby newborns, and familiar with couplet care.
If the candidate has experience with scrubbing and/or assisting Cesarean Sections , that would be ideal, but not completely necessary.
The candidate should also be aware that he/she may be required to work Labor Day holiday.
Patient Ratio: Active Labor - 1/1, Early labor w/o epidural or pit - 1/2, Ante - 1/3, Moms or well babies - 1/6 for M/B care
Pat Population: Anything over 20 weeks and take post-op GYN patients. Ages: Childbearing age.
Required Certification: AWHONN Fetal Certification (Equivalency)
