Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
24 months of Intermediate Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Teaching Hospital Experience preferred

Shift Information: Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays required.

MS/Tele experience required

Telemetry oncology, cardiac and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience preferred.

Telemetry

Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.

Orientation Hours: 36

Patient Age Groups: Adults

Daily Census: 26 patients

Orientation Schedule: UWH orientation is held every other week – typically on a Monday, but not all travelers will start on a Monday even if the contract has a Monday start. This is due to department specific orientation schedules. Travelers should follow the start date and time listed in their welcome letter and department schedule. Travelers will orient at 600 Highland Ave, room F8/170 (subject to change – traveler should follow instructions in welcome letter). Orientation is typically about one week. Adult Exam:

100% identification of lethal rhythms: Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole

No incorrect answers on questions regarding 3rd degree heart blocks [1 incorrect answer will cause failure]

Passing score of 80% or higher

Proof of ID: Driver's License/State ID
