Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Pediatric Emergency Department experience.

ADN completion required

Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months

3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 2-3 years, previous Emergency Department experience required, experience with pediatrics required.

Required Skillset: Care for pediatric emergency department patients, including assessment, medication administration, teaching, wound care, EKG, obtaining vs, providing mental and behavior health care, etc. Provides nursing care in a setting where there is potential for exposure to blood and other high-risk body fluids, communicable disease and hazardous materials, chemicals and waste.

Unit/Facility Details: Majority of their cases are low acuity, but also see high acuity as well

Special Requests: An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Rotation: 2 weekends per month

Holiday Rotation: rotate every other
