Travel Nurse (RN) - Intermediate Care Unit

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Transplant IMC

Start Date: 6/2, 6/16

Shift: 3x12 Day/Night or 12Night

Shift Hours: 1900 - 0730/ 0700/1930

Rotating shifts can vary between switching between days and nights within the same week and/or working a few weeks of days and then a few weeks of nights.

Flexibility is a must.

Weekend REQ: 6 weekend shifts in a 6 week schedule. Weekend shift is Saturday or Sunday.

Float Requirements: Travel RNs float first, Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity

Skills Required: PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias, Central line care/management, Central line care/management, Starting IVs, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank

Special Procedures: paracentesis, central line placements, lumbar punctures

Scrubs: any color or print

Orientation: 4 hrs. class, 8 hrs. modules,12 hrs. clinical shift- Day 3 independent

All travelers must be able and wiling to accept assignments that include COVID-19 patients

Return Staff Policy If a nurse has held previous employment with Medstar, must be gone for a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler.

Must Provide Proof Of Pending Status At Time Of Submission And Must Have Dc License In Hand Prior To Start Date
