Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.
Experience with Altera Digital Health a Harris Company is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Skills: Scrub for C-Section, LDRP, Level I Nursery, Mother/Baby, Baby Nurse (“Baby Catcher”), Assist with amniocentesis, OCT (Oxytocin Challenge Tests), Assist with Circumcision/Assess site post-op, Phototherapy, Teach Circumcision care to parents, Nitrous Oxide, Spiral Electrode Placement, Telemetry Interpretation.

Required Credentials: Government issued photo ID.

Shift & Scheduling: Facility will consider 36 or 48 hours/week

May be placed on call if low census

Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: 13 out of wknd shifts nights(fri, sat, or sun) days( sat or sun)

Floating Requirements: May be asked to float to our other campus or another floor, must be flexible.
