Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Operating Room experience.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license

Annual Skills Checklist is required for submission and can't expire during the expected contract dates.

Shift & Scheduling:

8 Or 10 Hour Days Plus Call
Weeknight/Call Requirements: 1 night a week on call
Weekend/Call Requirements: Every 5th or 6th weekend (Sat/Sun) on call
Holiday/Call Requirements: Rotating holiday call

Floating Requirements: Pre/Post op, PACU if trained, ER for trauma cases

Required Skills/Experience: Need 3's And 4's In Neuro And Experience

Previous Employment Requirements: Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

Required Credentials: Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. Open Book exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Obstetric. Neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic, GYN, general, Davinci robotics

Types of Patients on Unit: Adults, geriatrics, Peds
